FLORAL DESIGN

We are florists at heart. From a small bud vase to a massive ceiling installation, let’s chat stems. Although we can offer more design skills, we are always honored to be solely hired as your florist.

WEDDING DESIGN

We design the aesthetics – the look and feel – of your event. With art and design as our anchors, combined with inspiration from our clients, LSC creates unique, conceptual visuals.

Tabletop & Furniture Rentals

We elevate each event through cohesive rental selections that connect to the overall floral design and aesthetics. We are happy to curate and manage these, working only with trusted vendors.

We enjoy getting our hands dirty, so we strive to produce all custom-designed elements in-house. But if we can’t, we know someone who can *wink*.

After you fill our the inquiry form, we will hop on a Zoom to chat all things wedding. Consider this wedding therapy. I am here to hear what you like, dislike, floral dreams, overall vibe, all of it. We will run with this info to draft up a proposal.

Contract is signed! Deposit is in! Now we start to hone the design. During this time, we will do a site visit and start adding to the Design Deck so that we are always on the same page.

We take the next several months honing your design and building out the Design Deck. We are in touch to share the latest versions of the deck for feedback and/or a thumbs up! You will always know where we are in the process and how the design is coming together.

Roughly a month out from your wedding date, we invite you all to the studio to see a mock-up of your tables and chat last little details. We pop some champagne and light the candles for a little preview of your big day.

We run a tight ship. We show up on time and are done early. We are your planners dream :) We are very much behind the scenes making sure everything looks just how you want it and how we promised it would be.

INVESTMENT

We bring our delightfully untraditional perspective and variety of experience to the select number of events we take on each year. (Also add something about that we pay living wages and hire local artists)

We do have a $20,000 minimum, and most floral budgets end up around $50,000. That said, we work with budgets that are both smaller and larger. Budget chats are never scary here—we keep them easy, transparent, and tailored to you. 

Smaller budget? We work with a select number of clients who have art-forward events if we believe LSC is the right fit.

A wedding designer guides you to develop the visual aesthetic and personalization of your wedding. At Little Sister Creative, our wedding design approach is to plan the big picture. Little Sister Creative will ensure that your design concept is incorporated throughout all the touchpoints of your wedding or event.

The difference between a wedding designer and a wedding planner is that the wedding designer focuses on the aesthetic (look and feel) aspects of the event, while the planner is more focused on the logistics (budget, timing, venue negotiations) of the wedding or event. Many wedding planners do promote design services as well, but they are two distinct disciplines so Little Sister Creative focuses on the design aspect of your wedding or event experience.

A wedding designer will cost a couple varying amounts depending on the scope, complexity, and size of their wedding. Little Sister Creative will focus on understanding your wedding budget and in defining a plan for the wedding design to fit into that budget. We are also passionate about fair wages and sustainable business practices so Little Sister Creative doesn’t cut corners on quality resources for your wedding design. When assessing how much to budget for a wedding designer, Little Sister Creative recommends you estimate how many hours of time you will need to spend to create a wedding vision, source the elements to fit that vision, negotiate pricing, co-ordinate the logistical details, and then to attach an hourly rate for your time to do it yourself. Many couples we design weddings for say that Little Sister Creative’s wedding design services are a wonderful investment in creating joyous memories while allowing them to enjoy the process.
